Meeting Abstracts

Meeting Registration (early registration deadline 30 September 2011)

Abstract Submission (deadline 31 August 2011)

SFC2011 will be back in Chattanooga, TN, on Thursday and Friday, November 10 and 11. The meeting will be held at the Chattanooga Convention Center with a poster session and social at the Tennessee Aquarium on Thursday night. Our meeting theme is “Forming Partnerships for Aquatic Habitat Restoration,” with a keynote address on Thursday morning by Dr. Eve Brantley, Auburn University, with contributed papers with similar content following her presentation.

Abstract Submission:
The call for abstracts will be issued on July 18, and will close on Wednesday, August 31. Stay tuned to our website (http://www.sefishescouncil.org) for submission and further details. Pending a brief review for content, abstracts will be accepted in the order in which they are received. Both oral and poster presentations will be accepted. Please submit early if you have your heart set on an oral presentation as there are always more requests than there are available slots.

Registration:
Early registration will be $75 for SFC regular members and $30 for SFC student members. Non-members will be charged $110 and $50 for non-students and students, respectively. Early registration will close on September 30. Late registration (1 October – 8 November) will cost $25 more for all categories. Walk-up registration will cost $50 more for all categories. Registration includes breaks and the reception at the Aquarium. Guest tickets for the social may be purchased for $25.

Accommodations:
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Staybridge Suites Chattanooga Downtown. They have lovely studios and one-bedroom suites ($114 and $134, respectively).
